Laura has 6 years’ experience as a construction litigation solicitor working on high profile building defect cases affecting residential developments in Australia. Laura has worked on numerous claims in relation to non-compliant combustible cladding well in excess of £1,000,000.
Laura has acted for both individuals and larger body corporates dealing with an array of complex legal and construction related issues. In doing so, Laura has worked with an array of experts ranging from fire safety engineers, geotechnical engineers and coating specialists to prepare litigation complaint expert evidence which has assisted in the successful outcome of many cases.
Laura has experience working on cases at the preliminary pre action stages and has assisted Counsel on matters right through to final hearing.
Laura has experience in dispute resolution processes including mediation and litigation specifically, in the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Laura has also appeared before the Supreme Court as well as other Courts and Tribunals (District Court and NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal).
